The Weather at Caltech

The Caltech TCCON weather station is located on the roof of the Linde + Robinson Laboratory on the Caltech campus in Pasadena, CA. Measurements are taken every second by a small array of instruments mounted next to the coelostat solar telescope dome. A weather forecast for the area is generated by the National Weather Service.

The system collects and archives information about temperature, solar radiance, precipitation, wind, humidity, and barometric pressure.

You can see a graph of the full data archive or look up data by day.

The weather station's instrumentation is described here.
